I took my dog in to get his nails trimmed as the nail is curled over causing him to limp. They said oh he is limping so we can't cut his nails but it's his nails causing him to limp. Dog 2 had all the paperwork but apparently the "Karen" working didn't like the rabies paperwork even though it had the sticker from the vaccine, date, etc. total waste of time, I really believe they just didn't want to cut dogs toenails and, made up excuses. 0, stars
I took my dog to petsmart for a grooming after the pandemic had shut down groomers for a few months. He needed grooming badly is why I took him back because my previous experience with them was dissatisfying but I had been a loyal customer for 4 plus years. I dropped him off and within ten minutes of leaving I was called and told to come pick him up.? Was told to bring him back the next day. This was a Sunday. When I arrived I was given an appointment for Wednesday and they wanted my dog who's body was shaved unevenly and face that was never touched ( he looked like a little lion) to stay that way until Wednesday. He's a shih tzu. I was told that the dog needed a break. I was absent 10 minutes. Needless to say. NEVER AGAIN

I took my dog Loki in for a grooming appointment at the PetSmart on Eubank in Albuquerque. Meranda took really great care of him. She done a wonderful job. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was as comfortable as possible. I do not normally trust anyone with my dog but I was told about hoe great Meranda was from a friend, so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. She was also very patient in explaining everything they were doing with him to me. PetSmart is lucky to have a employee like her that puts all her attention on the animals she is working on.
I have a dog and three cats so at least weekly I'm buying canned food, dry food, and/or dental treats. I buy most of these items at the grocery store or Chuck 'n' Don's, a pet store. I shop at PetSmart occasionally. I get e-mails from PetSmart at least weekly. Often the e-mail is about a special discount. Customers could print off the coupon and present it to the clerk while checking out (I don't have a smart phone so unable to show the e-mail with coupon info to the clerk) or can order online, enter the code to get the discount, and pick up at the store.
A few months ago I decided to try the online order and then pick up. However, when I entered the code, it wouldn't be accepted or I got an error message (don't recall exactly since it was a while ago). I tried multiple times with the same result. I looked at the fine print on the coupon to see if there were restrictions. If I recall, I ended up printing the coupon and going to the store.
On 5/22 I got an e-mail from PetSmart advising that I could get $10 off on a $40 purchase of "merchandise or pet services." I've been having problems with my printer so wouldn't be able to print the coupon and shop in the store. I decided to order online. I buy Greenies for large breeds and try to get the 34-count, if available. That retails at PetSmart for about $50, so I would be well over the $40 minimum. And, that count was in stock. Yet, when I was ready to check-out online, I entered the coupon code and got a message saying that it was not valid for my order. I double checked that I had entered the code correctly (I had). I re-entered it and got the same message. I then clicked on the coupon icon to see if there were any restrictions on what the coupon could be used for and found none. I even started over with my order but got the same result.
There was an 800 # for customer service so I called that. I, of course, got an outgoing message and was surprised to learn that the office I contacted was in Canada. There was a reference made to Canadian stores. I live in Minnesota which borders Canada but, last I heard, we were still part of the good old USA. I hung on for about 10 minutes, waiting for a live person, and then hung up in disgust.
Anyway, I will no longer try to order online. If there are good sales on items I would buy, I would still shop in the store but, as I mentioned, I don't shop there that often.
I went to pick up my puppy from grooming area and they gave me the wrong dog, told me it was mine and they didn't have any others like mine back there. Gave me their leash to borrow to put this dog in my car. Went back in there still telling them it wasn't my dog. They finally checked the back area and my dog was still back there.
I had told them this dog was skinnier and more brown and more energetic and had white on his face not like my dog. They told me that shampoo changed color and that dogs age and change color. I showed them photos of my dog and they asked me how long ago they were taken which they were taken 2 days before I was showing them. They asked me if I wanted to bring "my" dog back in and have them try to wash the white off the dogs face because I was telling them all the features the dog they gave me had that my dog doesn't have. Spoke to general manager who told me he had no idea why they would say they had no other dog like mine back there since they had 4 labs that day. They were not believing me when I was telling them the dog they gave me wasn't my dog. This dog they gave me attacked me and scratched me everywhere arms legs everywhere. They were so insistent that that dog was mine, my boyfriend with me became convinced. But I knew my baby so I wasn't leaving until I got my dog. But yeah they finally checked the back and they were like oh yeah he was back there with his name and everything. Attached are images of my dog versus the one they had me put in my car trying to get me to take him home.
I went in to book an appointment for my cat to be washed and groomed( as they advertise for my Location). I come to find out they haven’t had a cat groomer in years!!!!!
The cashier (#541761) could care less and said in a not so nice tone “ well I can’t int do anything about that”after telling me the nearest one being 10 towns away.
Corporate office needs to update Their website.!!!!!!!
I don’t intend to continue to give Petsmart my business after being treated so disrespectfully.

Ananda was the groomer in Dawsonville Ga. I paid $59 for a horrible hair cut. She doesn't listen to how you want your dog groomed she isn't nice to your pet he was there for three hours and I don't think she ever offered water to my pet. I don't recommend anyone to take their pet there to be groomed. VERY ANGRY
I made an appointment online as directed for grooming, changed my work schedule to accommodate the appointment, received a confirmation online and then received a call from an employee who stated they didn’t have enough staff to groom my dog and cancelled the appointment. I called and spoke with the “manager” Leigh who couldn’t even provide a number for corporate. This is a poor example for Petsmart! Don’t waste your time here.
The worst experience EVER!... my 11 yo dog had an appointment with Alivia for 11:30 am at the only store located at Yuma, Arizona on 03/11/2021... arrived at 11:00 am and was told to wait outside for Alivia to show up. At 11:30 am, another lady after finding out Alivia was not coming (she was not supposed to work that day) told me that because my dog medical history (my dog had ONE seizure 11YEAR AGO when she was a puppy) she needed to be rescheduled in order to meet her "special needs"... my dog DOES NOT NEED and NEVER HAS NEEDED any special accommodations the past NEITHER at the veterinary office NOR any other grooming salon... I was never asked about my dog's medical or veterinary history when I was setting the appointment over the phone... Awful service!... I will never come back to that store for any reason...
It has been 6 days since I first contacted Petsmart CS that the website would NOT accept any of my 3 credit cards nor could CS put the charge through. I have still not heard back from Petsmart, who was supposed to correct the error within 2-3 days. The checkout failed to verify my 3 working cards, Visa, Discover, Am Ex, from different banks. Each bank verified the cards were active w no problems and that they NEVER received any approval requests from Petsmart. The checkout also did not give the option to use PayPal. The PayPal square was greyed out. I tried different browsers, verified personal information on credit cards, opened second Petsmart account in sister's name & cards, tried different phone numbers, emails, nickname and nothing worked. I contacted CS 3x and spent over 2.5hrs.
I WAS PREVENTED FROM MAKING A PURCHASE ON YOUR WEBSITE, FOR NO VALID REASON, & NOW THE PRODUCT IS UNAVAILABLE! PETSMART HAS MANY COMPLAINTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM BUT DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. WHAT KIND OF $#*!ED UP COMPANY IS THIS? FYI: I purchase all my needs on-line to prevent going into stores and have not had any other site fail to verify my credit cards, ONLY PETSMART.
Ordered a clipper, 2 days later my order disappeared form their website. Called, they put it back. 2 days later it disappeared again. Called again and they said the item was on backorder and my order would be automatically cancelled. What modern company lets you order a product without having it in stock and then makes you wait 5 days to tell you? I will not be doing business with them again.

I was so excited to have this new PetSmart close by with a grooming saloon, but not worth it at all. Do not go to this location to get your dog groomed!! I've taken my dog to couple of different places for grooming but never had this kind of experience. First of all it was hard to get an appointment when I needed, after long wait finally I got an appointment due to one cancellation. I got so excited and took my doodle for her appointment next day. When I walked in the groomerJennifer.w checked my puppy and said there are no other problems but she will have to charge extra for the special shampoo since the puppy has some matting and also for the nails and plucking hair from her ears, on top of full package price and will let us know if there would be any extra charges when we pick the puppy up . She charged us double the price, since my pup really needed the bath and haircut so I didn’t argue and agreed to pay hoping to see my puppy will come out looking clean and beautiful with everything taken care of. I gave her special instructions and told her to keep my puppy’s hair longer at least an inch or more. When I went to pick up my puppy, I was very disappointed, sad, mad and frustrated to see my puppy completely shaved, hair on her ears where completely shortened she looked horrible and different like a sick puppy, groomer Jennifer didn’t even shave her evenly, her coat looked so terrible and bumpy, neck area, behind the ears was completely shaved like no hair, two back legs looked slimmer then the front legs due to uneven shave. I wish I would have never taken her here. After paying double the price I had terrible experience. I will never take my puppy back to this place again, never ever with the groomer Jennifer.W.
Recently placed an order of some canned cat food because it was on sale on their website. Around a week later got an email saying my entire order was canceled because they don't have what I ordered, which was not true because their website clearly labeled them as "in stock" (at the time I got the email).
